Collective Purpose
Collective Purpose is a group of performing artists whose mission is to elevate, edutain, and enlighten others
through our words and work. Collective Purpose understands the transformative power of art. As artists we are
committed to utilizing creative expression as a means to inspire others to become truth seekers, truth speakers,
and positive change agents.

The work of Collective Purpose is centered on connecting and strengthening the community through providing
opportunities for people to engage in dialog. Our hope is for people to gain an appreciation and understanding of
the arts as not just entertainment, but as a movement that has the power to effect, heal, and transform our
community.

Mission Statement
Ant Black has been called a mastermind of paradox in
urban culture. His creativity is evident in his range of
performances, from collaborations with Kaleo O'Nalani
Polynesian Dancers, bkSOUL and Hip-Hop artists
throughout CA. His work has been
described as fierce, but it's also camp, and Black's
ability to convey both is a coup de theatre.
